After finally getting my motor to run properly I was thinking of trying to address a boost problem that's been annoying me a little. Am I right in thinking that with RICA 304 I should be boosting 1.1 bar ?. At the moment I'm hitting about 0.8 constantly occasionally spiking to 1 bar (very occasionally). I know all the pipe works okay as I dug through it all last weekend trying to fix my other problems (the first thing I will do is check my boost gauge is reading correctly). I haven't pressure tested the intercooler which should be next on my list of things but I was wondering something. I used to run an MBC plumbed in between the BCS and the wastegate but I had it set to just a little over stock boost and it seemed to work well, pulled harder and would hit the boost I'd set without spiking and would hold perfectly but I removed it when I got Rica'd. Would it be safe to refit the MBC and set it to 1 bar to see if it will hold better, assumably the ecu will fuel correctly as the remap would be 'expecting' the higher boost level anyway or would I be better off leaving alone.
