Recirc valve blanking plate on T5 ME7?

Can I safely put a blanking plate in place of the factory recirc valve and not have any external dump valve?

I know this causes the turbo to stall and produces the 'chatter' sound, which I prefer over a dump valve.

Can I do this on my ME7 T5 without upsetting the ecu?

Whilst I'm aware that causeing the turbo to stall everytime I lift off the throttle might shorten it's life a little, Ive also read people saying T5's don't run high enough boost levels to cause concern?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated
    cheers

    Is it loud then?

At the monent i'm running a K&N 57i filter and I can really hear the factory recirc valve. Blanking it off was just an idea?

The more I read about my ME7 management setup, the less inclined I am to fiddle!

Very loud. If you get the revs up then lift off its like a gun going off. Mines pre-ME7 though (i think)

Pre-ME7 will tolerate this as they have less sensors and are a little more stupid, bit like me. I have a cone filter from IPD's on the 19T and you can still hear the recirc valve - no issues. Mine is ME7.

I assume the one way valve would fit inbetween the vacuum pipe to the recirc valve?

Am I right in thinking the recirc valve requires vacuum to help it stay shut under boost, hence why you can't just remove the pipe to it?

Any ideas where I would get hold of a one way valve?
