Have you found out. I must admit it looks a great exhaust with OE looks. There is a great video on you tube of a V70R with this exhaust fitted and it don't arf sound brilliant.

Sounds nice and meaty to me, is it the type of exhaust that you get that causes that poping noise just before gear change as i love that sound and want it on mine

I thinks it a P2 V70R AWD/S60R AWD thing. When you change gear quickly in the lower gears the exhaust pops. Might be something to do with the dual system from the cat?

I am sure we could get around that somehow if enough of us wanted that exhaust.

When I had the middle box welded out of my BSR exhaust mine started popping.

It does it reliably now if you dip the throttle the right way - must just be unburnt fuel combusting in the cat.

I've heard Focus RS's drive past that do it - sometimes it's a sharp pop other times a dull thump sound.

The pops/bangs from my exhaust are short and sharp in their noise. Not long after having the car and I heard this noise and I thought that there was something wrong with my car, but no, they are supposed to do it. Thanks Volvo
