225 to empty on just over half a tank. Well in my R, driving sensibly I am getting around 22.9-30.2 mpg. I currently have half a tank and the computer says 175 miles to empty. Believe me, it is hard driving this carefully and also trying to keep the average mpg up. When I look at the instantaneous mpg, its just scares me.

Sorry to get side tracked. Loverly interior, although I would say that

MPG?? You dont buy these if your trying to win economy contests you just enjoy it and live with the discomfort of giving Gordon more tax.

Yes. I also love the way you have no control over the light settings on the speedo...other than brightness, it automatically controls when the outer ring lights up etc. Beautiful.

I'm lost what do you mean by that you have no control and the rings automatically light up? Its just LED's that shine down on the face of the speedo you can see them, there is no back lighting.
    Thanks

During daylight hours (before the light sensor alters the dash) the LED's light up the dash, as you say. But, once it gets dark then the back light switches on because all the little white lines around the outside of the speedo and rev gauge light up. It definitely has back lighting.

handbags at dawn.... or maybe midday... or maybe 10pm ?

If you have a button Fettish the S60 is definitely the car for you - My dashboard feels underdressed now - Awesome interior tho, sat in one a while back - felt really solid and premium in there.

Sorry, i was very tired and switched pc off after that post and went to bed. Wasn't being arsey just thought it didn't matter what the time was but that it was dark and that was all that mattered. I apologise if you were offended...
