Tc's 960 Thread

There's two, one is a 2.5litre 24valve straight six, or there's the 3.0litre 24valve straight six, both are RWD. I have the 2.5, but it's getting a 3.0 lump at some point....(Hopfully).

They are very comfy seats and the metallic flake is a brilliant little touch, I wish the C70 had seats like that the old ones had bigger bolsters

Don't know where the hell all the 3.0 960's are, they sure as hell aren't in any of the scrapyards I've checked latley.

Yup, it will but have you seen the price of them?. There's one for sale on Ebay at the moment but they're asking £3k for it.

That's because it's out of an XC90. I swear I saw an S80 T6 lump on eBay for rather less ... of course you could always buy a salvage S80 as a donor?

yeah the best idea really would be to buy a damaged car i.e has a smash then you can have the loom ecu etc

Mmmm after having a quick look it would seem that the T6 out of an S80 is a lot cheaper, even a road going car can be had for less than 2k, so a damaged one should be really cheap.

It's heading in that direction, R front bumper is on it's way to me tomorrow, the 850R rear spoiler should be on it's way to me at some point this week, already got the pegs, just got to figure out a way of lowering the damn thing now.
