    door strips

    any 1 know how to get the door strips off

    Slide them forward or backwards on the door ( cant remember which ) then they pull off


    1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol

    cheers bud some has put some blackener on them or something and theres bits on the paint that i want to try and get off

    Have you tried a cotton bud ( ear thing ) soaked in thinners to get in there ?

    Always works for me.

    av tryed g3 like and a couldnt get in really like , the full car wants a machine polish really like so

    on the inside of the doors at the end there is a small black grommet, take the grommet out & there is a little hex screw holding them into place. Take the screw out & slide the strip an inch or two & it'll come off
