    rear wheel bearing!

I have been searching for a "how to" do a rear wheel bearing but cannot seem to find anything to help me. i have only just noticed it on sunday and can only be heard "whirring" when driving around 70mph ish.
does anyone have any pointers/ tips i should consider before ordering new bearing ?

sorry for being so brief, what i'd like to know is can i just buy a bearing and get it pressed in or do i need a new hub assembly?
also if anyone has done their own, how long did it take?

    thanks in advance
