I'm looking to replace the std headunit in my 855R with a touchscreen version.
i've seen this one :-

has anyone used / installed one in an 850 ?
does anyone have any other suggestions (ideally i'm looking for a detachable front panel, satnav etc). i don't want to set a price limit yet as i'm just starting to look.

1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol

You can get an Alpine double din for £199 or Kenwood for £140, Beat at £199, Boss £199 and so on.
Loads on there or get a copy of Redline mag, big 2 page advert there.

Thanked 604 Times in 533 PostsId love a Harmon Kardon stereo in my car, my mate has a Range Rover Vogue with the upgraded stereo made by the above and it sounds absolutely awesome. the clarity is second to none, well maybe my Bang and Olufsen Cd player i bought years ago.

Thanked 10 Times in 9 Postsi have seen a lot of info on t'internet about fitting double din HU's into 850's but nothing definitive as to whether you need any specific fitting kits (apart from adaptor leads etc). are there any mods to the dashboard required to fit an aftermarket HU ?
chad - not really thought too much about a budget yet - i depends what catches my eye really.
