    C70 Auto Q

Is there a stock fault with the gear selector override? Key in ignition, turn to start position and nothing. Move gear selector through it's sequences and then it starts. Anyone?

sounds like the selector/PNP switch atop the gearbox is worn. They are easily replaced I believe

Best if you squirt some WD40 - no pun intended - into the PNP switch and move the selector fwds and back a dozen times. Maybe some dirt in the contacts.
