I think we should get a stand club stand.. Just to prove that there is a performance volvo following. Then we can go out on track and give them a shock....
    If in doubt, FLAT OUT!

I could easily be tempted by that, though I don't think I'll be embarassing Evos with my 2.0T, despite it being tuned

A well set up Golf is an ideal track car. I would have fun, keep safe - there are no prizes to be had!

well said, volvos aren't the only cars out there being modified, plenty of quicker cars even if they don't look it.

i've overtaken a 911 turbo at the ring, no proof but i think i had a passenger at the time. proof overtaking a 996 911 C2 if that counts for anything.

i've also been overtaken by a 1.6 3 door honda civic. no engine mods at all, just stripped and spoon brakes. he was hassling the ringtaxi though.

point is, just because you're quick on a straight and you can reach the cars limits on bends doesn't mean you'll be quick on track compared to others.

It's not the car that is fast... It's all down to the driver.
A 1.4 astra can be quicker than a lotus exige with the right driver behind the wheel............
    If in doubt, FLAT OUT!

I know I shouldn't ask but here goes - How much is it going to cost?

Right now I'll wander off mumbling to myself.
“If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls who live under tyranny.” Thomas Jefferson (1778)

Did you know the EU says that you can't claim that drinking water prevents dehydration. So now you know for sure what many of have known for years that the EU is run by a bunch of nutters.
