    stutter back fire and general poor running on 460

    Its fine first thing when cold, but when it warms up it stutters under acceleration. its the 2.0 l injection. apart from plugs leads dizzy cap fuel filter. any surgestions

    Ever changed/refurbed the injectors? mate, always a good place to start

    Don't know what injectors a 460 uses but ive got some spare orange ones??

    injectors look blue on the top, a mate has just said it might be lambada sensor, cos its only when its warm. hey thanks again for your help J, hopefully have these few jobs done by april, an myself and Griff will see you at avon.

    Doubt it would be Lambda related, if it were you would get poor running at constant throttle speeds when the Lambda controls fueling, this would then clear under hard acceleration when the system no longer uses the Lambda sensor for fueling. Might be worth checking the ECT sensor seeing as it's only problematic when hot and being doubly sure that the leads etc are good, I have known pattern caps and rotor arms cause more problems than they solved !

    Had this on my 480 and found I'd forgotten to reconnect the earth wire back to the dizzy. D'Oh.
