how to input a code

can anyone help?

the friendly chaps at my local volvo gave me the code for the radio, now when i input the four digit code nothing happens.

for example if code is 1122 would i simply press button 1 then 1 again followed by button 2 and 2 again on preset radio keys? as when input code after entering 4th number nothing happens.

radio now comes through speakers at very low volume but the display still says code. am i doing it wrong or is the radio fubar'd?

which model mine is sc800 just dial it in and it registers itself and comes on,,,sounds like a broken radio,,,,sayin that ive two radios for sale if a replacement is needed with codes ect,

think model number is CR-906 if it helps

not sure of input on that model,,tho i had one in an earlier 850,just cant remember sorry
as said ive two double din volvo units sc-700> 850 ans sc-802>s70 with codes il do you one at a good price if needed mate

just checked my manual which covers the cr-906 your doing it right sounds knacked sorry
