With Volvo's the wiring is usually already in place so it should be just a case of buying the hardware needed, relay, seats, switches etc from a breakers.

1.) Buy the switch tops for the CCM and replace the blanking plate (about £12 from FRF)
2.) Check fuses (all of mine were already present)
3.) Dealer visit for the following software downloads:

    ** 8645442 PSM Driver Reload - £33.00
    ** 8651387 Seat Heater 28-35c - £11.51

The labour was half an hour and to the value of £37.50

think the only seats with the wiring and pads in place are the electric ones and only some of those mainly later than 03 models. both mine had leather seats but did not have the wiring other than behind the blanking plate for the switch. if you check under the seats you'll see if the plugs there and are wired. If manual seats prob only have one for airbag and seat sensor.

Well mine is a 2001 model and doesn't have electric seats (all manual) but it still has heated seats. I guess it's all down to what options were specified when new, but there is no hard and fast rule.
