Can you see cream cheese on the dipstick or when you take the oil filler cap off.......

yep on the dip stick mate nothing on the cap. no excess pressure in header tank, and had new head gasket not long ago. radiator has had a crack for a while, rad welded,
it occured to me a crack in rad might have cracked through to oil cooler. i hope anyway

When the weather is as cold as it is at the moment and with the dipstick being were it is right at the front behind the rad. What it might be is just condonsation and oil in the dipstick tube. If the oil looks o.k. through the filler cap hole dont worrie to much about it..

cheers flying brick, thats what i was hoping, just good to be reassured, oil dipstick seal on block needs replacing as well, prob aint helping. many little silly jobs crop up on vehicles of this age, still love it tho, lol

Its like that on mine at the moment drives me mad...........It clears up in the summer.........
