No just an instrument binnacle & a CEM. Unfortunately it means you can't swap ECUs like you can with 850s & earlier 70 series.

I'm really unsure about getting it mapped. Can't help feeling it'll be more reliable left standard. Although with your list of modifications on Betsy I'm not sure your the best person to comment.

Have you bought "it"? I had 7 years of pretty reliable motoring with the 19T - 4 custom maps. Engine started to consume water & it was only at that point - 2.5 years ago I decided to make or break.

The only real worry you'll have with the ME7 C70 would be the ETM. Everything else is very simple and nowhere near as awkward as the later ME7.1 stuff in the P2 where bloody everything is connected to something that might have a hissy fit.

Mapping it wont hurt it too, it's a stronger engine than the 850 and the off the shelf maps are nice and safe. Its when you go outside the norm you have to be careful.

Trains booked, insurance is sorted & Friday is the day! I'm like a kid at Christmas.
That's good to hear Martin, Dave has also mentioned the etm's aren't programmed so that's a relief!
I'm hoping it will reward me better than the v70r but with 220,000 miles less I reckon it will. Lol

I am a at a bit of a loss what to do. I got bored of waiting for the gasket to arrive from the states so I bought a 3 inch SS gasket and cut the lugs of it. I reassembled the dp putting it on at the top first then the 3 bolt pre-cat flange (with putty) but the blow still continues. I've tightened the manifold bolts to 34Nm which is 9 more than the book figure of 25.

I think the v-band is still blowing. I will strip it down for the 4 time - this time I will remove the heat wrap (shame really) to ensure the d/p isn't cracked.
