You should have said, I have a VVT solenoid, that I bought for the R, but it was the wrong one.

It should have been - I've done it enough times now & I was there when it was done. New bolt, new VVT hub. Only old thing is the solenoid. I am going to change the solenoid first as it is relatively easy to do.

However I may ask to borrow Colin's cam locking kit if the new solenoid doesn't solve it.

Well dave turned up today. First time ive heard the exhaust in person and i have to say it sounds awsome. The whole car dose. Inside the car you can hardly tell its got a 3" turbo back system but outside the burble is awsome. Big thanks today to dave for putting up anal crap and taking up most of his day

All things being equal I plan to get to the next southern softies meeting.

Thanks to GW for all his hard work today. Can't be easy with the next orthopod operation looming.

I'd imagine it would be hard for Graeme working on a hairdresser's car that is so much quicker than his.

i stuffed a bug in the middle silencer to make sure it slower than mine.

the way this car revs once all the T's are crosses and the I's are dotted its going to be a reet weapon. the way it revs from idle to redline is unreal. maybe ill be lucky enough to race dave up the strip at york later this year
