    Question ltd slip diff

    hello all just wanted to know if there is a ltd slip diff i could get hold off
    to put on my old 850 t5 beast off another model ??? im finding that it spins up all the time on the bends !!!! tryed diffrent tyres soft to hard compond front ends tight as a nut poly bushs new drop links and wish bones strut brace over the last year. i see the new focus rs has one which seems to work any help
    or comments would be great

    Afaik it's a bolt on job, the LSD is in the box, apparently it's a Viscous one so it's not fantastic, but it's better than none at all and a hell of a lot cheaper than a Gripper etc.

    The Focus RS has all sorts of suspension enhancements and modifications to compliment the LSD it has. The ford Revoknuckle system as covered by Gary on T5D5 plays a big part in getting the power down. Peugeuot diesels run a similar system to the Ford system also, to cope with the higher torque outputs the newer Td engines produce.

    i think a t5r box is the way for me seem the most pratical way to go. im not planing to take the old girl to no more than 280-300 bhp is i can find enough pennys !!!!

    28" wheels will stop it or 15" wheels with 33" tyres, just another option lol, sorry all this talk of snow has fried my brain a tadge

    You mean the 850R box?, don't get the T5-R gearbox, that'll no doubt be exactly the same as the box you currently have.
