    Nitrous

    Hi all,

Got a question, has anyone run nos on there t5/r? and if so what was it like in regards to engine damage? how much of a shot? any ecu issues?

The reason i ask is i have run nos on other turbo engines as a coolant for the intake and also for the extra fuel on large boost to stop detination..

also never used it on an auto and wondered what it is like....?

    Thanks

i had nos all plumbed in & fitted, but never got round to wiring up the throttle switch & get the running. I brought a cheap single fogger kit from ebay for £130 & then £20 for a second hand bottle, also splashed out £60 for a dual purge kit. I planned on running the 35bhp jets which works out to about 50bhp on a turbo engine because of the extra cooling the nos gives. I've planning on running nos on the engine i'm buiding, but going to be a 5 jet system plumbed into the manifold
