Scottish meet in the new year

Anyone up for a meet sometime in the new year.

Where would be the best place for people??

Would be good to meet some people from the site.

Dunno about the location tho, we did a meet quite a while back at the Falkirk wheel overflow carpark!

The last one I got to was the Strathy meet in 2008, but work issues & getting the car into order have held me back on attending any meets.

Anybodys choice on the venue.

Yeap central is a deffo but i'm not really sure where would be good. Somewhere like falkirk wheel is always a good place. Even if it a small number a good pub somewhere for grub and a chat then a drive or something like that?

sounds good to me i'm from denny so 5 mins from falkirk wheel i think that would be a good place to meet up then maybe even a run to calander quite a few pubs good chippy aswell and decent size car park for us to all line up in

I'd love to get a decent sized meet sorted, the last really big one was the run up to Fort Augustus in 2006.

We should organise a good run too & make a day of it! (weather permitting!)

Yeap totally agree. Callender has an awesome pub with STEAK!!!!! Good run and good photo opportunity's

its probably better to wait till around the middle of the month to let ppl get over new year but havin said that ppl like to get out for new year nowadays lol

Yeap was thinking the middle of the month would be better. The VAT rate goes back up on the 1st so it gonna be an excuse to get ripped off on everything. May look middle to end. Give me esp to save for it lol

I'd love to come down to a good size meet but cant be botherd travling for hours just to see a couple of guys have turned up, oh and it would have to be after winter so I can take the c70 or I'll just have to drive down in the old tractor

Im in, dates permitting. Falkirk sounds good, and a blast out to Lanark or something? I might add that South Queensfery is good for a meet, pubs/cafes a prime view, and a big carpark, but im sure it would be windy as...
