    idle speed should be 850

    my cars tick over is all over the place at times, above 1000rpm even 2000rpm at times and then below 850 and burbles up and down.
    i know its ment to tick over at 850 and it does most of the time. seems to be around town it happens most. which is most undesirable
    oh and thats why there called 850's by the way

    Check over all your vac pipes etc for air leaks and/or remove and clean the IAC valve, that should hopefully sort it.
