Sorry lads curry turned up and food got priority

Was a long afternoon,, all good apart from having a knackered rear knock sensor and a sticky throttle cable which I'll change then return, now drives and pulls so much smother just running off actuator pressure only mbc shut, pulls at 24psi all the way to 7500 rpm which equates to 112 mph in 3rd with my box, so all in all I'm a happy man, thanks to Tim and Ben for there efforts

I agree too, be plenty of wood to prop it up and I'm sure we can start a fire underneath to provide heat?

How's the throttle cable to do? Think mine needs changing too.

I thought yours felt a bit stiff (steady now!) at shakey, but then I am used to the tdi fly by wire I suppose..

It's a bitch to get out of the bulkhead it's held in with 1 way plastic tabs, you can't pull it out by hand well at least I couldn't lol got a screw driver and hammer and gave it a tap on the tabs you can get in there if you bend it back abit.

Perhaps a second feel and it will loosen up???

Never looked at my tdi the other day until I though why does the pedal not move on cruise, then noticed fly by wire, always assumed with age it wasn't.
