    I was told by a Mr T.Williams, that if you fit the side movement linkage off a T4, it will reduce the travel for us

    Nope the short shift will probably just help you do the syncros as well tbh I was more than happy with just replacing the old bushes for the brass ones

    Yep another box bit the dust, but it does give me an excuse to fit another with a quaife which I wasn't going to do till winter time.

    Had my short shift fitted over a year now, so far no problems, did have the 'box flushed and new fluid put in just to be safe.

    Don't think Jimbob budget extends as far as what you call a full refurb, I imagine they will give the box a good look over though.
