    Time for an update

This was actually all finished 10 weeks ago however on start-up the RMS failed it just did'nt fit properly and i got a bit of smoke out the back, so the block was pulled out again and was pulled apart, it was decided that the piston rings werent sealing properly so in went 0.4 oversize new one's.

    Anyway today started off well...

Started putting it all back together....

Then when doing the last mani stud up this happens....

Anyway carried on and with Smithy's help got the gearbox on and then lifted the block and box onto the sub-frame, yes two old bloke's managed it somehow

If it wasnt for that bloody stud could of lowered the car back on, but hey-ho the bitch fight's on for another day.

LOL, doesn't sound much, £1 a day, but I suppose it mounts up

Unfortunatley so Liam. I got just outside Peterborough and the car began to smoke. The main coolant pipe to the turbo had split and all coolant was lost, long story short, warped head, blown cylinder head gasket, loss of compression and a long recovery stint home.

I have litterally just got through the door an hour ago, I set off at 12 and phoned the AA at just gone two!!!

You really aren't having much luck with that car!

You can bloody well say that again! Everytime I change somethin gthough I think, "There isnt alot else that can go wrong", seems in the case of Volvo's there is.

If repairable however once the head is changed it will pretty much bar the bottom end be brand spanking new!
