Ive got a high pitched whistling noise coming from around the idle control valve area...
Correct me if im wrong thats the plastic cover you take off with the hex screw...
The trouble is I cant pinpoint it...
Could it be an injector whistling? Does that happen?
I dont know if this is anything to do with the "lumpy" tickover or what...
It some times feels on full throttle as if its holding back...
Im off to see pedro at some point to fit my mbc and hopefully his wisdom will shine through on it, or any other input is a big thumbs up.....

Thanked 528 Times in 448 PostsSplit hose around the IAC valve, sucking in air could cause whistling noise and poor tick over. Injectors tend to tick if anything unless one of them has a leaking seal.
