    turbo boost????

    how much turbo boost psi, should be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gear? on mine in 1st and 2nd is 10psi but in rest of gears its 12psi.. is this right?

    Boost is generally limited in lower gears to reduce wheelspin (although not sure how the ecu tells which gear its in, must go on speed and rpm)

    aye mate its standard... just fixed a split pipe which was on it, must of been split since i got the car as it was only boostin about 8psi in 3rd 4th 5th

    mine did the same, i was running an MBC set at 14psi. When i fixed a couple of split pipes the boost then went upto 20.8psi, the standard ECU was still happy & no overboost so didn't bother lowering it lol

    IIRC 9.5psi, about 3/4 into the white bit of the guage


    1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol
