tyre sizes?

Hi some one has probably asked this before but what is the correct sizes on a s70r/ v70r.... on 17' rims???? running 40's at the mo but the spare is a 45?

I'm running 215 45 17 on front and 225 45 17 on back

C70 IIRC are 225/45/17's as standard - if you open fuel flap or have a look in handbook for tyre sizes

Recently discovered that a number of internet tyre sites like Etyres and KwikFit have a system where you put in the reg and - in theory - it shows what the car should have fitted. It has worked with all the cars I have put in so far, although I am confident that at least one person on here will prove me wrong. And I should add that I would not be in the least suprised - since there are so many possible permutations and special orders.

Yep, 225/45/17 were on my original C70 alloys - they were standard on them alloys

cool.... i thought that the 40's on it when i got it were to low a profile....
