Emmision's warning light

I have a 1998 S80 T6 and the Emmision service light has just come on. Does this mean there is a fault somewhere or is it just a matter of having it re-set.

If the warning light has come on then the system has detected a fault, best to get the codes read first and then try deleting it. Sometimes the o2 sensors can get a bit crapped up and generate a fault, it may just go away...it may not.
