    Turbo transplant

Right I know that this has been covered many many times but I can't find an answer which I understand due to me lacking braincells.
I have an auto v70 t5 from what I have read I think I have a 15g turbo fitted (it's standard). I have access to the turbo from a v70 t5 manual which I think if standard has the 16t fitted?????

My question is..... Can I just swap the turbo's over?? Will it just bolt straight on?? Would anything else need doing? Injectors etc??

Lastly I can have anything off this car so would there be anything else on the vehicle which could boost my performance?

    Thanks people in advance

according to the list i've got the V70 both auto & manual had the same 16T, only the 850R had a different turbo for the auto (15g) to the manual (16t)

if the turbo is different you might need the downpipe to match, other than that it'll bolt straight on

Oh that's interesting, if that's the case I wouldn't benefit at all then from the swap so I might get a lie in tomorrow.
    Thanks ped !

It's just got that little bit extra mate, where the 15 seems to run out of puff at the end of the mid to top end the 16 has a bit more, not much more compared to an 18 or 19 but enough to make a difference

Well everyone it looks like I wasn't the only one trying to get spares off the car, it was nearly fully stripped the turbo and head were gone as was the wheels interior and unfortunately the full exhaust system. Readview I get these little opportunities quite regularly so next time it may be a better car. I'm back there again next week so I'll look again see if they have any other cars. There was an s80 today that I could have had stuff from but didn't think anything would go on my v70.
    Sorry peeps
