    Cheers for the offer J

Ive already got the replacement wishbones and put them on using the old bolts, they didnt come supplied with new ones

The seem to be moving about though as though not held tightly enough, quite un-nerving tbh, and thats why i havent driven it today.

Need this problem sorted out asap i miss my T5

Hmmmmmm that doesnt sound good.... Are you sure the bolts havent "bottomed" out before going tight? I presume you have the 4 bolt type and not the 2 bolt type as on mine?

Well i can hear them knocking about, i was sat on a down slope and when i lifted off the brake i heard them knocking, i could physically feel it as well, put the foot back on the brake straight away and lifted off and it done exactly the same thing

I really dont wany to drive it till i get it sorted out.

I fitted them properly, wishbones on, bolts through, hand tightened, wheels back on, drop it down onto the floor and proper tighten with torque wrench

Well when i ordered mine from my chassis number thats what i was supplied with, i even told the parts guy that they were 2 bolt fixing and i got the 4 bolt ones
They cost me £130 + the VAT. They were a special order too so i cant send em back for a refund! So now im stuck with them unless i can sell them on here or fleabay!

Anybody have any old wishbones lying about that can give me the sizes of the bolts from ?

Theres a local hardwear place that stocks any size needed, just need to know the dimensions and i'll go get some

dont know much about these things but be carefull as I am shure bolts are graded according to their tensile strength etc, so fitting the wrong type could cause problems.

Marvin, You are right. High tensile bolts are rated 10.9 (stamped into the head of the bolt) And low tensile ones are rated 8.8

    Yeah i guessed that buddy

The guy i know has been doing it for years, its one of them ye olde corner hardware places, i describe something to him i think is impossible to me to find and he has 10.

He's been there for years and has a very good reputation, although it would be good to get the genuine item.

I'll call Simon ( rufe ) tomorrow and see if he can help me out in any way.
