    Re-map or not?

    Just wanted some opinion wether or not to re-map my car or not because it has 226k on the clock.what do you think?

    if you want it, go for it mate. aslong as you do a "stage 0" tune beforehand.
    i had mine "hamished" at 162,000 its now on 178,000 ish and is running fine.

    if you have any doubts give hlm a call and see what they say,

    in this market you will be able to get a complete engine for the price of a re-map- but it shouldn't come to this. that's just my way of thinking lol

    Depends whether you are ME7 or not?

    Are you confident that your car is in good condition for its miles? Turbo still working OK and not using gallons of oil? If thats the case then there are plenty of high milers running a remap with no ill effects
