    Changing a Radiator

    Can anyone help?
Has anyone ever changed a radiator on and S70?
My problem is that two brackets one on either side of the rad that secure to the frame/chassi of the car. The bolts off the old one wont come off. the bolt is like a normal hexagon shape head but the other bit, the nut is round and doesnt have the hexagon sides. tried alsorts to get a grip but no joy. there must be a reason for volvo using round nuts but thers no obvious reason. anyone out there got any info pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze

i'm sure that rounded nut should be just welded to the plate but it isn't done strong enough, i'm sure i used a dremmel to cut through the nut & remove it, then i just used a normal nut & bolt instead of the old one
