    Talking

Why is it that these are always the model you would least want to buy in the range? - now that is a car that needs an auto box. But if you are into pristine it's pretty good. But for myself, I couldn't live without leather and suede and alloys and sunroof and roof-rails and a great colour and a thumping, pumping 2.3 turbo engine - with a viagra chip!

    Oooer!

I LOVE 850's as you know Alan, but if there was a vehicle that could cause me to turn, it would be this one:
    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1242589.htm
    I'm a sucker for Saffron on a V70R.
I reckon he isn't wrong when he says that other owners will know how hard it will be for him to sell this vehicle (well at that price anway - ha ha).
But the sort of thing I would buy, and very soon forget that I had paid a bit over the odds. It does look very nice.

If I was an old romantic like Russ who buys his wife Pegs for her birthday, I would get this for Mrs Flatout.

Saw that one mate.......yep,with you..only unlike most on here I hate the colour and the lack of lateral movement at the gearlever and missing pedal are a concern..

So true that it always seems to be the poverty ones. Just thought I'd post it up as it was worth a look for rarity value. Come to think of it.......did anyone actually buy the 'S'?? Apart from this one obviously...

Sold my 15" perfo lookalikes to a bloke who turned up in an S last night. He paid £395 for the car. So there are now two we know about!

dragging it into another thread, but its got headlight wipers. So either he had them fitted as a factory option or even the S's had them showing you were right & no UK cars came without them

All the UK spec cars had h/w/w and heated ft seats Duane or winter pack as it was latterly known, even the lowly 340 DL. Wasn't till the S70 arrived that this was extra..

Mine's an 'S' but it does have full leather in blue, 4 x electric windows, cruise control, climate control, child seat and info centre. Somebody got happy with the options list!
