Just so you know, I have a Flash Code reader for the phase 2 850's.

I won't be posting it around but if your local or at meets I can read the code(s) and clear them for you.

Thanks mate, I'll pick it up from the post office in the morning and post it on or before Monday. I've looked back at this thread and I'm not sure who's next in line (there are people who asked before I did) so whoever pm's me first will get it! Game on, ;D

Code reader is now with me.

Unfortunately it reports a
"Linking Error" on our 99' V70 2.5D

This said the service history with the car also reports a main dealer "Unable to communicate" with the car through the OBDII port.

So in our case looks like a problem with the wiring harness on the V70.

Now booked in at the local garage to fund why the EMS light has come on with no visible or audible vacuum leaks under the bonnet

It did on mine, for reading the generic codes at least.

Anyone know who has the code reader now? I know i'm new but was pointed here by a reply to a thread i made. If i can have it, the sender will have my address and is welcome to send the heavies round if i don't send it on.

I asked back in July if I could borrow it next and no one came back to me ...as far as the thread shows it went off the scene around the time blackdog sent to Tomcat.
Since then as you can see from the thread .............did Knight rider receive it? Are you guys using PMs ? thanks Kim

Hi guys once your all sorted using the code reader, could I be next In the cue, it's only my spare 850 but has lambda light on since mot.
