In all fairness Pedro was extremely lucky to get that at that price.

when i was looking i had a limit of £3k & mainly used the Autotrader website, i narrowed it down to 3 cars overall. One i didn't like the attitude of the owner, one was on holiday & ended up only going to look at Bonny & buying her

    try here Autotrader Link

Possibly a bit. But it was brought from an independant garage who had still got the window sticker in for £2995 when i went to view it, despite being on Autotrader & ebay for £2700, & i still managed to talk him down which i put down to lack of interest & a buyers market

Have you driven a D5? They are good diesels but not T5'ish. My R was swiftly forgotten but a D5 is a completely different beast.

Might as well be ten grand at the moment, can't buy anything until I sell mine and then I can only afford whatever mine makes..

Not too fussed to be honest, think I'm starting to finally grow up a little, if and when I do put my foot down I feel like a chav for doing it.....Oh dear....what the hell's come over me???.

It happens to us all mate. I, 95% of the time, drive like a granny, mainly because i hate the fuel needle moving downwards, and i hate filling up for £73 a time.

I've also resorted to listening to Classical Rock on CD and sometimes i venture over to Radio 2

Im buying a flat cap next year

PS, I paid £3800 for mine, one owner, 98k miles with FSH and nearly mint. They ARE about.
    Thankyou, Goodnight....much love

The way I see it Craig, what with depreciation of the newer cars ie...worth more than the scrappage scam allows and the same making cars such as ours rarer they will meet in the middle sooner rather than later. There's a buyer for your car out there and as the choice becomes more limited the more people will notice it. You're right not to drop the price. Be patient mate and keep the faith..

...which is exactly why for me I don't think it's worth going to a D5.
