rica chip what fuel

do you have to run the car on optimax or bp ultimate fuel or is it ok to use as my pal calls it lawnmower fuel (unleaded) thanks....john

It's quicker with that Shell v power or whatever the hell it is. Also the Tesco high octane stuff is good. You can use normal unleaded but it lacks the oomph of the others.

IIRC it depends what remap you have got.

I can run my Upsolute 280 chip on normal unleaded, although I don't, but I can't run my 304 RICA on anything other than the likes of VPower without the danger of pinking.

So Optiplop it is.

Used V Power On my S70R when that was Rica'd. Im still using it on my S60T5 now even tho its not tuned yet.... I know its expensive but u get what u pay for me thinks...

i run my 98'v70 which has a rica 310 , on esso supreme runs fine on this .
i have had to use normal unleaded on few occasions runs ok on this if you drive steady and keep off the boost .
i tried bp ultimate once ,never again car ran like a pig on this ..
