Yokos are a by-product from the manufacture of licorice allsorts. Try eating one - the roads certainly will as indicated above. Still, at the price...

i think all there efforts have been moved into the motorsport section which will explain why they are so soft. I know the old Yoko super soft slicks i had would last a whole 8mile according to there manufactures guide lol

Mmmm. What a vividly expressive analogy - you place in my mind a picture that I cannot erase

I found a couple of reviews on these tyres and they were cheap. The C drive apprently has a better rubber so i thought i would try them. Found this on a Aussie site.

"Following lots of research and advice from various people on this forum, I got C-Drives for my Volvo. When the Pirellis wear out on the 605, it too will get C-Drives.
I'm obviously running a larger size and higher load and speed rating (98W) but I can say with confidence that they are FANTASTIC. Had lots of wet weather now and they stick under circumstances where my old Pirelli Scorpions would have let go in the dry. Loads of feel too. You can literally feel them stick like glue to the road as you turn sharply and give it a bootfull.

Put simply, I love them. Great price too.

(Today, station wagon FULLY loaded up (seats down) lots of driving in the wet including freeway and tight roundabouts... can't complain at all. )
