you won't notice any difference just by moving them, but my theory is every little helps

most people tend to move them if they've got a mesh grill as you can see them thru it

Nope, unless they're an aesthetic distraction.

I mounted mine first of all underneath, then after serious flooding they stopped working, then began to sound a bit like a wet fart - so bought new ones and relocated to in front of the battery - they work fine now.

Mesh grill made me relocate mine, looks better.

There are moments when a horn capable of emulating the sound of a wet fart might be exceedingly appropriate and humorous.

aesthetically it does clean the front up if you have a mesh grill and it does only take 30 mins! when fitting them low down, ensure the horn faces down and back to prevent the ingress of water and the wet fart sound!

as for the upgrade of the sound I couldn't say as I default to either the 'whoop whoop' 'waaaiiillll' 'neee-naah' and curiously one that already sounds like a 'wet fart' (I think it's a sort of 'white noise' one which gives the traffic a better idea of the direction you're coming from) which I have fitted for work as and when the need arises.

Haha, yep, it was quite funny at times, but when i really needed them, it had the reverse effect. That reminds me, the old ones are still there, need to take them off.

Only moved mine so i couldnt see them through the grill, didnt do it to try and get more air -was purely down to my OCD
