Occasional misfire

I'm getting an occasional couple of coughs from the old girl of late. Tends to be as the boost starts to come up in 5th, and worse if the cars fully loaded. All the ignition system bar the coil and module is fairly recent, the only suspects are the dizzy cap and rotor arm which are pattern parts. Anyone experienced any problems using pattern caps and arms on these motors ?

A month or so ago, in an attempt to cure this misfire. Leads were done about a year ago and replaced with genuine.

Not sure how yours is set up buddy but a cooked BCS can cause symptoms such as these..

I know you have done the leads, but check them as they can break down if you get a duff one. It's worth a look at the dizzy cap, take it off and give it a clean, something could have found it's way in there.

Fuel filter could cause a cough.

Pattern arm and caps don't tend to last that long. I would change those and see if the symptoms persist. Comparing pattern to genuine arms and cap you will see there is quite a difference in shape.
