Wow, I'll be well happy if its that cheap. The guy who owned it was quoted £350 just for the belt from Volvo. Im going the manual box fluid changed too, as it feels a little sticky

    Hi Liddo,

from the registration number you have supplied to me in a pm about something else i can price up the kit for you.

(If anyone else needs a price please send me your registration number, as part numbers are specific to chassis number, engine number, model year, etc, but i can get all this from the registration number usually)

All prices include Vat at 15%

    Timing Belt: [31258306]
    Retail Price £36.34 / Our Price £25.44

    Tensioner Pulley: [30731774]
    Retail Price £53.36 / Our Price £38.96

    Idler Pulley: [8692561]
    Retail Price £41.17 / Our Price £30.06

    Lower Crank Pulley Nut (x1) & Bolts (x4): [3531111, 985382 x4]
    Retail Price £6.96 / Our Price £5.92

    Postage:
    £10.00 DHL 48

labour for the D5 is around an hour, so maybe an option would be to buy genuine parts discounted and then get them fitted by a local garage?

    Hope this helps

    Simon

'if' HLM aren't traders on here anymore the I completely agree. Tim Williams was 'told off' a few months ago for offering genuine Volvo discs and pads cheaper than anywhere else. If those is the rules then fair do's. I would expect the same treatment of the above offers from HLM.

P.S. Liddo, just some friendly advice (take it or leave it!!!). I'd rather stick my d!ck in a blender than let HLM touch my car again.

LOL, thats seems a bit extreme, but i get ya point mate. I was only asking for rough prices from people who had had theirs done.

Im sure HLM have done some good work, but maybe not on your motor.

My local mechanic will probably get the work, but he's got a memory like a sieve, and it takes about 10 call's to get him to remember to order the stuff
    Thankyou, Goodnight....much love

LOL I'm sure you'll get it sorted for a decent price. Good luck with the new motor!
