evening, i just thought i'd share this video from usc last weekend.

racing my mates nova probably around 300 bhp. he went on to do a 12 something. the best i could do was 15.4 not too bad considering the new pegs.
i had a right nightmare getting the power down on my other runs so it looks like i need a lsd. even the commentator had something to say about the wheelspin.

how much are we looking for a lsd fitted. cheers??

all in all a superb weekend and cant wait till next year

would it be just a case of sourcing an 850 R gearbox?

you did very well there mate, kept up very well considering what the Nova's running. No offence but i've ran a 14.5 & many others faster than that without a LSD

well i am still new to all this volvo/turbo lark.
it's possible a may still have a boost leak but i dont know where as i have changed most of the pipes. (still doesnt boost right off the guage)
back down to get another smoke test done this week as the last one showed up leaking intercooler which had been fixed.

i am still learning, the hard way lol

not sure if there are any more meets/events worth going to this year.

especially when its a 400 mile (£100 fuel) round trip to santa pod.

although a little spuggy tells me there is a fast car cruise in bridlington on saturday so i might have a drive through for something to do lol

you'd need the driveshafts as well, personally i'd fit a Quaife into your current gearbox

youch, i'm lucky that both Avon ParK & Santa Pod are only an hour away so can just pop down when-ever

i used to go regularly to the Coventry cruise, it is very good fun surprising all the Corsa & Saxo boys lol

hahaha... I thought that was me..... !!

I was there as well, I did 16 runs, wheelspinning thru each and every one of them (apart from the first run where I blew a boost pipe off), and got a new PB time of 14.8...

There was a fair showing of T5's there, I saw 6 of them, inc mine. Last year I was the only one....

I'm going back there in 10 days to a RWYB the day before mini in the park, with some decent tyres on 16" rims, with some tyre wall and softer rubber, see if I can drop that time down somewhat. Spinning through 1st, 2nd and into 3rd has to knock half a second off, at least.... All I want is 14.2..... I'm not greedy......

i know, what is the world coming to? i have another few videos i'd like to share but you can never bee too carefull who sees them (this being a volvo forum i'm sure there will be police amongst us).
anyway i was driving home lastnight along my private driveway when just by coincidence a mate of mine in his porsche carreara pulled up side by side and said last one home is a rotton egg, so obviously i raced him up my driveway and didn't actually do too bad for a big bus

i may upload it if anyone would like to see me get beat down lol
