My car is finally back from having the turbo replaced!

I picked it up tonight and man it feels good to drive something with power again.

I've treat it to £25 worth of juice (skin flint) and my intention is to use the whole lot tonight. Oh, and the car needs a damn good wash and polish so i'll do that aswell.

I just need somewhere to go now, any suggestions?

Carlisle is a good run out, or just get on the A1 and head South for a while and cut across to the A19 and head back up.

well i've only used about £10 worth, ended up going for a brisk drive with a few mates to a pub in the sticks to see a friend at work.

when i say brisk, i mean a pretty quick VTS Saxo (that used to ever so slightly pull away from me - don't laugh because he doesn't now, i have to ease off) and a brand new subaru impreza wrx with a prodive kit (that just slightly pulls away from me)

Only problem is, there's either been some oil spilled onto the exhaust when they've been doing the turbo or my sump gasket is on the way out because there's loads of oil burning on the downpipe (nothing around the turbo though)

anyway, i got on the phone, the garage i got the work done at will sort it for me.

All in all, a nice day, especially seeing my mates face in the scooby with me almost attatched to his back bumper. He was surprised that i stayed with him for so long, and i think he was a bit gutted to say the least because he has just paid £21k for it on Friday.
