Heater Matrix Part 2!!

anybody got any idea how much it would cost for my heater matrix to be fixed?? and how much it would cost for parts needed,if i was to attempt it myself?

you can get a used example from Salvo, I got one for under a tenner plus postage. Apparently new ones are only about fifty quid direct from Volvo.

I'm not sure about fitting as I think you have an S70 don't you?, fitting on the 850 is easy and only takes an hour or two tops.If your gonna do it let me know, I'm willing to lend a hand mate.

If your asking a garage to do it, I know that my local place charged a bloke over £300 to swap it out on an 850 on the basis that it was a dash out job, and it wasnt a main dealer!.

not sure how they compare but my bro is having a heater matrix made for his Toyota Surf for £55+vat by a local radiator company (needs the old one as a pattern)
