    I'm trying to paint mine at the moment, off the car fortunately. Using Halfords caliper paint and it's a 'kin nightmare, paint seems too thin and wishy washy, going to take about ten coats to get a decent finish. Wish I'd just hammerited them now.

    Same paint as mine, really thin but doesnt come off if done properly

    5 coats on mine iirc.................



    1998 C70 T5 GT Auto, 68k, FVSH, Immaculate inside and out, only mod - poly top mount, its Yellow and no pete i didnt paint it, lol

    i think i might go for the gold me thinks i like the sounds of it,, if i dont like that i paint them black or blue,,,

    in black with a volvo sticker bought from ebay. subtle, but imho nice.

    lol @ filterlab. it only took 3days to get video up of exhaust.

    i may get round to uploading that pic before i go to pod on friday morning lol.

    and cameron it looks waaayy better on the 18's i also have bigger brakes on now just beddind them in thanks anyway.

    well chaps i got to say we all have lovely clean wheels lol and calipers well apart from mine at the mo lol thanks you lot have helped me a big time on this i will post some pics when i have done mine thanks

    That's what we're here for, confusion is what VPCUK members do best. Mind you FFM's gold ones do look nice, on the other hand Pete's look really good, and irf's are really understated and tasteful, Cameron's look good as well.

    just tried to upload a few pics but it would not let me upload jpeg images, although i have uploaded the same type before. (will try again now)

    i wouldn't carebut i have been waxing it all morning ready for tomorrow. will anybody else be making an appearance at usc?
    i will be going down the strip tomorrow, trying to beat the 15.2 i got at york
    (not bad for my 1st ever attempt)
    then getting s@#t faced all weekend, just hope the weather's on our side.

    as for them caliper stickers, i think they look the part and will be ordering a set when i get back.

    Excellent choice Photobucket, also Imageshack is good although a little long winded compared to Photobucket.
