Hey Pedro - isn't your 0.1sec reaction time a red light disqualification for going too early???

I just been looking at all the times and speed. I have a Nokia 5800 with a race crono application on it which does all the performance stats. Its all done with gps so i thought would give it ago.

    1/4 mile was 16.3 seconds @ 93 mph.

Think i'll just have to wait and go to a strip and get some proper times, then I'll use my phone to see how it compares.

I'd be careful what you type on here buddy as regards performance testing on the open road. This forum has members in every walk of life and please don't think I'm preaching,it's just that I opened a can of worms recently by merely hinting at having some fun and the tartan rugs rolled out. We lost a couple of members through that as they could not understand the hypocrisy. One was even banned as he lost the place and disrespected one of the moderators. Just thought you should be aware....Alan.

It must be lower than 0.025 as that's been my best reaction time and I wasn't red lighted (lit? lightedededed???) help someone...it's da gramma lol

I misread my best 60ft it's 2.288 (been rounded up to 0.29 by excel for some reason?!)

it was 360bhp with a modded kkk24 on a dyno dynamics roller on a hot day last year. he's now got quite a bit more with a garrett turbo. thing is, he could have dialled in more if he wanted a straight line car. he's more interested in corners though.

PS - anyone remember what the terminals for SW autos 13.0 a few years back was???

as well as the damp time 13.82, I also did a couple of runs half hour after the rain stopped, still puddles on the strip, did a 14.7 @ 112.2 mph off of a 2.96 60ft, no grip for fist 200 metres at least, 1.6 fiesta had me beaten by about 4 car lenghts by the half way point, I won by about 4 car lenghts, guy said he s**t himself when we came past as he had seen us in the rear view mirror a second or two earlier, his terminal was 85, ours was 112 lol.

Also, big respect to Elliot, awesome time, what 60ft was that off of? spec etc? what car? Jacqs car has more in it on a good dry day run, that was just a run out today, loads of crap in the boot, never bothered messing aroudn with anythign specific etc but I dunno if it has a 12 in it, low 13's for sure.

cheers Pedro, fills us with hope there seeing as our best terminal was 112.2 today with 100m of 1/4 throttle, 100m of half throttle, and 200 m of full throttle, through puddles. Doesn't always work like that but glad this forum undestands a 1/4 mile, tried to compare on VOC and their list is all times, no 60ft, no terminal, tells you nothing about the car.

    Cheers again Pedro.

Plan on doing a route planner to Avon tbh, really must get a fair time for the car.

One of the guys from THE GARAGE, who built the car (they built it and mechanically adjust the fueling if needs it) and MTE fine tune it whenever we can get them here, has a 1.4 Rover K-Series engined mini, he fitted the engine himself, turbo'd it himself, built his own ECU adn mapped it. He has never done under 13.5 @ Crail (where we ran today) due to big power, low weight, and **** surface, he ran at Avon and did two consecutive 11.9 @ 120mph runs. I'd love to see Jacqs run at Avon to see what it can really do.
