just a quick question on the 1/4 - I've gone from 205/50 profile to 225/45 on the front.

That means I should have a 10% bigger contact patch on the driven wheels.

Has a similar swap helped the times for any of you guys? and If so... how much by?

drop the pressures to 25 psi mate and with 225s the car should have more grip too.im uping to 225s on the rear of my car ready for the 31st oct

BT's running 225's & there is a big old difference, don't think i've ever ran the 1/4 on 205's tho so no idea on time differences. My Yokohama slicks are 240's lol

best time I got with FFM was with standard T5 columbas running 205/50 tyres... Tried it with 215/40's and lost half a second... remember about tyre wall flex, too little and you spin up the tyre easier...

And well done simthy... that's a cracking time for a 940...

thanks mate as you will know being rwd the fatter 225/50/16s will help with traction instead of my 205/50/16s at 24 psi
