can i just say a well done to TFFM, that's a bloody good time. am just curious though, with a terminal speed of 101mph what kind of terminals were you getting before? what was the 60 ft time? Any tips on what was done different to before? Genuine questions btw, i'm not trying to take anything away from you, getting your time down that much must be very satisfying.

i was going to wait & let Paul answer himself, but i'd forgot he's at the Pod all weekend. But basically Irf the time tumbling is the results of the last phase of engine working finally showing (19T, RIP kit etc), he had got all the mods fitted & working for USC but cheap remould tyres & a poorly prep'd track really let things down (still beat his PB by 0.1 tho). This time with a better track & some (normal) Toyo tyres the benefits have come thru. I thought myself that the terminal was low, but looking at the previous list his terminal for his 14.9 was only 92mph. Obviously you'll have to wait till he gets home for the rest of the timeslip info, but i'm curious myself

One thing I did that I've never done before was to put a set of rubber spring spacers in to reduce wheelspin, and the effect of them, added into the good tyres, was quite dramatic... Virtually no wheelspin at all this time round...

And I took the back seats out on Friday, but that probably didn't even make a 50kg saving....

according to my weights (on a 854) & it weighs 28.4kg, i do know the 855 is different as the base folds up but its certainly not 20kg more
