thats ok mate- esp 2nd time out. My best 60ft has been 2.288 but I still only end up with a 14.6 et. Difference between an auto and a manual.
    Good time mate

It's even worse in an auto unless you power start- which can end up as an expensive and painful (to the wallet) thing lol

I'm hoping mine will get into the 13s next year after some extensive mods from european tuning; I'll be happy to break into that bracket- it'll be about the most I'll get out of the autobox.

If I could get that 60 ft then I know my setup would carry me into the low 14s and possibly further - I just can't seem to hook it all up.

Tips would be appreciated. I've been doing it long enough?!

I did a 14.6 quarter in Winnie all those years ago (obviously not keep the timeslip after all this time though so you'll all have to take my word for it lol) Justin then did a 14.2 in it straight after.

Thats an excellent read, mine squats down quite alot on lauch so im going to get some spacers, that should see me into the 13's, not sure i'll bother with the slicks though.

    Cheers, Rob

I used rubber spacers, they help a bit, but it's more a case of not over-thinking the situation. We can all rip off from the lights at tescos and beat the chav in the fukkus, yet when we hit the strip, with loads more grip from the road, we wheelspin halfway up the track.....

Relaxing, and breathing right can help more than an extra 5 psi of boost....

Also worrying about reaction times can induce wheelspin... just from you jumping at the start.... my best reaction over the last 30 runs was over half a second.... my slowest ET at mini in the park with 11 runs was 14.4...

Chill and just drive your car hard, rather than racing the guy next to you, or trying to race yourself....

Personal best on the car in it's current form (just need to find the launch)
    15.163 seconds at 101.61 mph

Hugely fast in the middle/end - running out the line in 3rd near 7K.

    60 - 2.535
    330 - 6.891
    660 - 10.172
    MPH1 - 75.81
    990 - 12.824
    1320 - 15.163
    MPH2 - 101.61

Best time however was 15.124 but the speed was not in 3 figures.
