Erm, is it me, but in the ebay advert are the plug leads hanging over the inlet manifold? Surely there's something wrong there?

Yeah but you could restore it. For a possible small sum you could give it a go.

I think that car needs a small fortune spent on it to return it to its former glory, The Muppet probably screwed the gauge to the top of his dash so that would need replaced, I would put money on the body work being a mess so full respray would be needed to do it rite, and then there’s the gearbox issue. O and there has to be atleat one warning light on as he probably couldnt afford to sort the car when anything went wrong going by his history on here.

I would say its a stinky car inside as well just to finish it off.
    Thanks

Than it's probably better to scrap it,and then our ones are worth more.

    (one less,the rest rarer)

A former member of this forum has had, recently, a good close look at this car. It is apparently a complete and utter shed, ranging from rust running the length of the roof (which I can't recall ever having heard of on these cars before) to poorly repaired accident damage with poor colour matching.

Sorry, I meant you could get it for a small sum, god knows how much you'd have to spend on it, but its a classic.

Thats true, its just a shame to watch a car that is worth so much to me get wrecked by people that dont deserve them. I have always wanted a Gul as a show car.
    Thanks

Potential buyer may be in for a shock. Advert says manual gearbox, and when he questions the reverse issue, i for one would think it's manual and therefore think just needs a clutch. The piccys arn't brilliant.
I don't reckon the person asking the question realises it's an auto.

Tbh its a bag of crap the prev owner f**ked it up hes now saying it wants another gull t5r so if he gets one it will be another one gone down the drain i reckon it will need a load of cash throwing at it.
It will atleast need a good spray job so around 1k for a cheep one then it needs a gear box and i remember when he sold it he was boasting its was knackers and running absoultly crap so god knows what else is wrong with it i would say it will want atleast 2k to start bringing it back to its former glorey
