    Just Ordered my new brakes!

Well I finally got round to ordering my new front discs and pads today, went with the brembro discs from VT, Many thanks to Natalie for being so patient with me, as for pads the ferodas were a little bit more than I wanted to pay so I went for some Tar-Ox Fast Road Pads which i've heard from a few are the b*****ks!

Well shall get round to fitting them next week, will update you on how good they are soon.

Anyone had any experience of Tar-Ox? I nearly went for Black Diamond but Adam @ VT told me that Aftershock set his on fire? so that put me off!!

Used to have Tarox on my 306, and I hae to agree with siam... stop very well, but noisy as hell.
On the Ferodas, they are good, but very hard compund so dont last too long with grooved discs (had them first).

Either way im sure the Tarox will be alot better than the Black Diamonds, really were unbelievably bad, and yes they ended up on fire more times than not

LOL Well, hopefully the Tar-Ox was catch fire. The description says they withstand temps of 600c + so they should be ok!

tried Black Diamond drilled and grooved disks on the front set on my Escort Cosworth with Ferodo DS2000s..

They lasted four days before one of them cracked, and they both warped...

Sounds like Black Diamond through and through! Not sure why they get so well reviewed, Black Diamond must spend a fortune on advertising for anyone to give them good reviews.
