Rear fogs

Here's a question.......How many have done as I did and snip that wee bit of plastic out,fit a bulb and then have 2 rear fogs? Wonder how much Volvo saved with this one. Had 2 850's and is always the first mod. My bro has an '02 C70 and is the same.......

Yep, I done that. It was my Dad who discovered it and we were both puzzled as to why Volvo even bothered doing that.

I have done that on my 02 C70. Did it on my V40 too.

Early cars had both sides I believe,you talkin about your airborne jobby??

knowing the P2 cars you'll probably need a software upgrade with it as well lol, bring back the good old days of MBC's & thick ECU's lol

Think it changed at the same time as the first face-lift on the 850. Not sure though.

the first 850 facelift was 1993 when they changed from the large headlights to the smaller ones & from 4stud to 5stud, mine is 1994 the first of the second phase

And twin rear fogs mate. Seems that that was when it changed. Vertical boot extensions of the tail lights? Think we've sussed it.

My brother and I have done it to our cars as well, so we both have two rear fog lights now

All that's req'd now is some fog............then it'll all have been worthwhile!!

I have two rear fogs as standard, but only one works as the muppet who fitted the towbar (factory fitted!) has snipped the wire to the one foglight and wired it into the towbar electrics (I'm not a happy bunny, and I dunno why I haven't failed any MOTs)
